Travel Bucket List

Another travel post coming at ya this week! I have some other exciting content coming up so stay tuned!

I've always loved traveling. My family took summer vacations every year, usually down to Cape Cod, Maine, or some other scenic New England summer destination. Road trips were my jam. I've always had pretty severe flight anxiety but one I took my first cross country flight to California it opened up more travel possibilities for me. I still get very anxious when I fly but now I know what the experience is like and how to best prepare myself for the journey.

For this post I wanted to put together a little bucket list of the top places I want to visit. It is by no means comprehensive (it's hard to include like 80% of the globe on a list) but these are some of the places that stick out when I think of where I want to visit the most.

Oahu, Hawaii. Jeff is an army veteran and he was stationed in Oahu at Schofield Barracks. Hawaii has always been up there on my list but after hearing Jeff talk about it and doing research on Oahu it is now my dream island destination.

Greece! This picture is from Santorini. Some friends of mine got married recently and went to Greece for their honeymoon which made me want to go even more. Every photo I've seen from anywhere in Greece looks stunning. I love the old architecture and clear blue waters.

How cool does Barcelona look? Spain has been high up on my travel list since high school. I had a Spanish teacher who was in love with the country and she made me want to visit so badly! It looks gorgeous and I love the idea of taking siestas and eating delicious food all day. Plus tapas are one of my favorite things.

Now I guess this isn't a specific place but I've always really wanted to see the aurora borealis (aka Northern Lights) in person. I think it would be amazing to see them somewhere in Scandinavia (Norway, and Finland are honorable mentions for this list) where they are really strong and beautiful. Ever since we adopted our Norwegian Elkhound mix pup I've wanted to visit Norway even more!

What are you top travel destinations? Where is your favorite place you've visited?

Current Favorite Snacks

I am all about snacks. I pretty much have a snack packed with me whereever I go. I eat both my breakfast and lunch at work and you better believe I bring multiple snacks with me to eat throughout the day. There's nothing worse than sitting in a meeting hungry. Or being stuck in traffic on the way home daydreaming about something tasty. I thought I would share with you guys some of the snacks I've been loving lately. This list is in no way comprehensive but here are some of my favorites!

It finally feels like fall. I have been non-stop talking about fall and sweater weather for the last month or so and I'm sure everyone in my life is sick of it. BUT I DONT CARE. Fall is the best and if you disagree then I'm sorry but this might not be the post for you.

A Weekend in Burlington, Vermont

I love a good weekend getaway. Don't get me wrong, I'll take an extended trip any day but sometimes it's nice to just drive a few hours and be in a different place for a couple days. My better half is not the vacation type, he'd rather be working (crazy, right?) but I convinced him to spend a few days in Vermont with me this Labor Day weekend.
